DOMINATE DUBUQUE FAQ

The MVRA has created this series to encourage runners to attend multiple events throughout the community and to drive a friendly, competitive challenge across several progressively longer events starting in May and lasting through September. The competitive part of the series comes as a calculation of the total time as you complete each event in the progressive distance format.

REQUIRED FORMAT:

Trail Run: 5K
Grandview Gallop: 4 mile
Alzheimer's: 10K
Benefit Classic: Half Marathon

Q: Can I swap the distance in one race for another?

NO. In 2016 you MUST run the race distance stated above. That means you can't run the 10K at the Heritage Trail and the 5K at the Alzheimer's. This is meant to keep the play field fair so everyone is competing at the exact same race.

Q: I am signed up for the series but missed an evenT, do i receive a refund for that event?

NO. Like any race you would sign up for, if you prepay and miss the event, the funds are not reimbursed. You will miss out on the series title recognition, but you would still receive all of the swag of being in the series and for the individual event.

WHEN IS THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE?

The deadline to register for the series is May 3 online.

Q: Can I decide to sign up after the first race in May?

NO. You must register prior to the Heritage Trail race on May 5 to be part of the series.
